Assessment Workshop Series Offered for CTE Teachers
CTEC is offering a series of workshops for CTE Teachers to develop valid, reliable technical skill assessments as required of all CTE Programs of Study. Developing Performance Based Assessments in CTE Programs will occur on September 30th, October 26th, and January 13th. The goal is that teachers will leave the workshop ready to implement a Technical Skill Assessment that meets the ODE requirements. CTEC will cover substitute costs for CTE teachers that participate. Sustainability Workshop for Teachers
Clackamas ESD is offering a Sustainability Workshop Series for Teachers. This 4 workshop series will focus on Water: A Basic Human Right?. The workshops are appropriate for teachers of any grade level K-12 or content area. Sessions are from 4-7pm and offer a light dinner. CEU/PDU's are available. Regional Teacher Meetings
C-TEC coordinates annual Regional Teacher meetings in several program areas to allow teachers to share resources, align curriculum and discuss Advanced College Credit issues and opportunities. High school and community college instructors are included in the meeting. Current list of 2009-2010 Regional Teacher meetings. Unless otherwise notified, the meetings are held at Clackamas Community College in CC127.
A $50 Educational Incentive is available for teachers participating in meetings from 4-6pm. Otherwise substitute reimbursement is available.
